Security at SafeVano

How SafeVano Wallet protects your experience with non-custodial design, encryption, and industry-standard security practices.

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to download or use SafeVano Wallet.

Non-custodial by design

SafeVano Wallet never holds your funds, stores your recovery phrase, or keeps copies of your private keys. Credentials are generated and secured on your device — not on our servers.

Because we are non-custodial, SafeVano cannot unlock your wallet, reverse transactions, or recover lost access on your behalf.

Local encryption & device protection

Wallet data is encrypted at rest on your device using industry-standard encryption. PIN codes, biometrics, and device-level security add layers of protection before any sensitive action can occur.

Your recovery phrase should always be stored offline in a secure location — never in screenshots, cloud storage, or messaging apps.

Secure transaction signing

Every transfer, swap, or smart contract interaction requires your explicit approval. SafeVano displays recipient addresses, amounts, and network fees before you sign — so you always know exactly what you are authorizing.

Blockchain transactions are final once confirmed. Review carefully.

Phishing & social engineering awareness

SafeVano will never ask for your recovery phrase, private keys, or wallet PIN. Anyone requesting these credentials — including people claiming to be support — is attempting fraud.

Always download SafeVano from official app stores or our official website. Verify URLs before entering any information.

Smart contracts & third-party services

SafeVano may connect you to decentralized applications, blockchain explorers, and other third-party services. These operate independently and carry their own security risks.

Review contract permissions, verify addresses, and only interact with services you trust.

Your security checklist

  • Write your recovery phrase on paper and store it securely offline
  • Enable biometric or PIN lock on your device
  • Keep your operating system and SafeVano app updated
  • Double-check wallet addresses before every transaction
  • Never share credentials — not even with "support"
  • Use official channels only for downloads and updates

Swap & on-chain interactions

Swap features route through decentralised liquidity on supported networks. Prices, execution, slippage, and network fees may vary. SafeVano does not guarantee specific prices or outcomes.

Always review transaction details — including recipient, amount, and network fees — before approving any signature in the app.

Report a vulnerability

If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly to support@safevanowallet.com. We appreciate coordinated disclosure and will acknowledge valid reports as promptly as reasonably possible.
